Discipleship

Discipleship at Third

We seek to nurture the discipleship of individuals of all ages and stages of faith development by offering many opportunities for spiritual formation. Our Sunday morning education hour is from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. during the school year.

Children & Youth

As the psalmist says: “We will not hide them from their children; we will tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,And the wonders he has done.” – Psalm 78

At Third Reformed Church we are committed to our children, youth, and young families. Our educational offerings for pre-K through high school are designed to develop children, youth, and families as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Ages 3 through Elementary School

Children learn from Genesis to Revelation, make appropriate connections between the Bible and their own lives, and enjoy building relationships with each other and with Third Church’s gifted volunteer teachers.

Middle School and High School

Our youth ministry seeks to create opportunities for our middle school and high school students to experience God through fellowship, worship, discovery, and service. In addition to Sunday education hour and Middle School and High School youth group meetings, our dynamic program includes retreats, special events, trips, and service projects to help us make space for God’s presence. Through these experiences, we connect with God and with one another in meaningful ways.

Youth Groups

Our Youth Group meets on Wednesdays (for middle schoolers) and Sundays (for high schoolers).

Small Groups

Third Reformed Church has various ministries that encourage congregational members to nurture their faith with God and to develop the body of Christ in the fellowship of a smaller group. These groups include Men’s and Women’s ministries, as well as a variety of in-home Bible studies and book groups. Click here for a listing of these small group opportunities.
