Sharing the good news

Both locally and globally, Third Reformed Church seeks to live out its call to Know Christ and Make Christ Known. By partnering with organizations and individuals from our community and around the globe, we work to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ and effect positive change.

LOCAL MISSIONS

“Contribute to the needs ofthe saints; extend hospitality
to strangers.”
  (Romans12:13)

Third Reformed Church is located in the central city district of Holland, MI; the original plots of land sold by Albertus Van Raalte. The area includes the Holland Historic District with its stately homes; Tulip Lane, which bursts into color during Tulip Time; libraries, parks, and Hope College.More urgently, though, Third Church’s location also compels us to confront challenging urban issues. Seeking to be a bridge within our neighborhood and community, we have been led by the spirit to begin local ministries. Below are the local ministries of Third Reformed Church and the community partners we support.

GLOBAL MISSIONS

“For I am longing to see you so that I may share with you some spiritual gift to strengthen you—or rather so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.”
(Romans 1:11-12)

We partner with many organizations to fulfill our vision of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ on a global scale. The primary vehicle for empowering our global vision is our Mission Co-Workers. Mission Co-Workers are appointed by the Reformed Church in America to serve in partnership with indigenous organizations around the world.
