Sunday Worship

During the school year: 8:30 and 11:00 a.m.  

Sunday Morning.


Young Disciples the Second and Fourth Sunday of the month for children in grades third through and fifth grade during 11:00 AM worship.


Education classes at 9:45 a.m. for all ages each Sunday morning.


Nursery: Offered for infants through age 3 during Sunday morning worship services and classes. Staffed by Andy and Jane Zoerman and Kara Green along with caring volunteers.


Children and Worship: Children ages 4 through second grade participate in the start of the sanctuary worship service, then leave to experience worship at their own level. The program offers singing, Bible story, response to God’s word, and prayer in a way that makes worship accessible. This program is offered throughout the year.

MIDWEEK CELEBRATION

During the school year, join us Wednesday night for supper at 5:30 p.m., followed by Life in Faith Together (LIFT) children's programming at 6:15 p.m. and youth and adults programming at 6:30 p.m.


Programming

LIFT is a multi-generational, mid-week offering of educational, musical, and spiritual development. Children's programming, Middle School youth group, High School Bible study, Choir, and more are available.

Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37-39)


We need committed Christians who have passionate hearts, think perceptively, and reach out their hands with the love of Jesus Christ. The historical purpose statement of the church, “to know Christ and to make Christ known,” continues to guide our life and mission in the twenty-first century, reinforcing Third Reformed Church’s strong tradition of worshiping God with our minds. 


We want to continue to be deep disciples while also offering our hearts in praise to God and our hands in practical deeds of service. We believe that many in our community and the world are searching not for a simplistic or easy faith, but a faith that engages the whole self before God. We seek to create not just members of the church, but disciples of Jesus who are passionate, thoughtful, and reflective, and put faith into action in the community and the world.
