Health Ministry at Third Reformed Church.
Ongoing Functions:
Assist with Blood Drive (Blood drives scheduled at TRC for 20 March and 22 May 2006)
Blood pressure screenings every 2nd Sunday from 9:30-1045 a.m.
Function as a resource to Dee Bechtel.
Serve as a contact point for new immigrant families (source of Medical Coordinators)
Loan Closet Maintenance
Resource for transportation to appointments & companions for medical appointments.
Educate the congregation about health and wellness issues, hilight community events, relay alerts etc.
Plan the yearly Flu Shot Clinic
Nursery Infection Control liason
Children/Youth ministries link
First Aid Kit Maintenance
Oxygen Tank Maintenance
Liason with Hospice
Write informational articles for the church newsletter
